with pleasant views overlooking a valley of cherry orchards, cork oaks
and vineyards.
It is situated in the peaceful, pretty village of
Llauro, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, near the historic town of
Ceret, close to the Spanish border and 30 kilometres from the
Mediterranean.
The apartment is very comfortable and fully equipped
for a self-catering holiday. The entrance is at ground floor level into
a tiled hall with original oak beams and an open fireplace.
Brick and wood stairs lead up to the apartment front
door and lobby with stairs to a carpeted bedroom with double bed,
wardrobe, chest of drawers and bookshelves full of reading material. The
kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table, chairs, fridge,
butler-sink and washing machine, hob, combined conventional oven and
microwave.
The bathroom contains a WC, hand basin, bidet and
glazed shower and fully automatic water storage heater Leading from the
bedroom there is a doorway to a large well furnished sitting room
The sitting-room is light and airy and equipped with
a dining table, side tables with cassette/CD player and radio, sofa and
double bed.
French doors lead to a large private enclosed
terrace. A barbeque can be set up outside and there are tables and
chairs for al fresco eating.
